“We are delighted to work with hiblocks for technology development, operation improvement, security enhancement, and global market expansion,” said Peter Seo, Cloud4C Korea branch manager. “In addition, CLOUD4C is proud to have supported the migration service, and will continue to support their growth journey in Korea,Indonesia and other overseas regions.”

CLOUD4C conducted an in-depth security evaluation to solve the problems related to the security, performance, operational expertise, stability, and cost of the cloud that hiblocks is experiencing. It has provided several strategic problem-solving solutions for business and cloud-optimized environments.

In addition, it provided its own automation solution, ‘CLOUD4C Migration Factory’. Through this, cloud operation performance was improved by up to 54%, downtime was minimized to near-zero level, and productivity was increased. CLOUD4C will support the global expansion of hiblocks in the future based on the ‘CLOUD4C Migration Factory’ in response to the situation where rapid cloud scalability is required due to the characteristics of blockchain technology.

‘CLOUD4C Migration Factory’ is an automation solution for cloud platform management that completely converts virtual machines to the cloud and meets high service level agreements (SLAs). To optimize the overall cost of hiblocks, the total cost of ownership (TCO) was reduced by up to 47% as a result of analysing the system usage over the past three months with ‘CLOUD4C Migration Factory’.

In addition, to protect against various attacks such as DDoS, malware, SQL injection, etc., security solutions for the entire infrastructure and services were applied. DB optimization and in-memory DB utilization methods were provided to respond to DB performance problems discovered during the existing service optimization analysis.

hiblocks CEO Young Kim said, “Due to the use of social media and the growing global interest in blockchain, hiblocks has grown 200% in annual sales over the past year and registered more than 250,000 users in 11 months. “In a situation where we had to improve the GCP configuration to keep pace with this growth, CLOUD4C proposed an integrated solution that meets our needs. It was a very important factor in planning global expansion that CLOUD4C could support hiblocks 24 hours a day in any country as it has a global infrastructure and network. After the completion of the migration, we are satisfied with the result, and in addition to the current rapid growth in Indonesia, we are planning to expand into Myanmar, Vietnam and Europe within this year.”

Ahn Young-gyun, Google Cloud Korea Partner Manager, said, “Through this collaboration with CLOUD4C, CLOUD4C is a competitive partner, able to respond immediately to ever-changing customer needs, and has many world-class GCP experts who can operate core enterprise applications.” he said. “We look forward to further collaboration in the future as CLOUD4C has outstanding capabilities through global partnerships such as SAP and ‘Anthos.’”
