Blockchain-based platform development and service company, hiblocks has signed a MOU with Korea Authentication Service for mutual marketing partnership. Starting early this year, they expect to work together closely to improve the platform service, user exchanges, and token circulation
With the goal of `safe asset transactions,’ Korea Authentication Service is promoting the ‘Mach Project’, which supports members to trade assets safely by combining various technologies such as escrow, blockchain, and cryptocurrency.
The second-hand trading app ‘Durian’, which is part of the project, has amassed a rapidly increasing user count with over 200,000 downloads in the Android market alone. Durian will be released on the Apple Store in January and is in preparation to link with a Japanese used luxury goods trading platform. Furthermore, a dedicated point accrual system will also be included.
On the other hand, hiblocks is a start-up that develops and provide service on various platforms based on blockchain technology. One of its main projects is a social media curation platform, ‘HABL,’ that allows users to easily collect and share carefully selected high-quality contents in one place.
HABL is a social media platform built on blockchain technology that offer users a virtual asset called “HIBS” as a form of rewards in the platform. The amount of the rewards itself depends solely on the user’s activity index. In other words, users can accumulate more rewards when they remain active in the social media ecosystem. HIBS is currently listed on Coinone, one of the major domestic exchanges in Korea.
Through this MOU, the two companies hope to expand through e-commerce collaboration including marketing campaigns, and infrastructure sharing.
